Hewo-o! My name is Samantha and Suni just adopted me! I'm a complete cuddle bug and just want you to scritch my head. I'm a Lesser Sulpher Crested Cockatoo and I'm 18 years old. I lived with one family for all that time and they traveled all over the world with me. But they realized they didn't have enough time so they decided to give me up. Now Suni has taken me home and I'm sure we'll have lots of fun together!
I'm sure you can tell that I have kind of an issue with plucking my own feathers. I'm trying really hard to stop and my mommy is hoping that when I molt next some of my feathers will come back in.
My mommy also said that she's going to start writing more about me and my new sister Mione in the Fids blog. I was only in my new home for a few minutes when I got into some mischief and I bet she's going to tell you all about it...
Oh, and in case you were wondering about the title of the post. The one word I say is "hello", but it sounds more like "hewo-o!" and my mom giggles every time I say it!
