First get one of those air duster cans. Turn it upside down and spray into a cup of some sort. Liquid will come out.

Collect a bunch of it in a cup. Frost will cover the sides and it'll steam. It's quite interesting looking!

Dump the cup onto a large surface and watch it spread, bubble, and evaporate.

Watch frost form across the entire surface.

Have fun with the frost as it melts and evaporates.

That might not be nitrogen at all.. last time i checked my can of "air" it was tetrafluoroethane (r134a) with a boiling point of -26 C , as opposed to liquid nitrogen's -196 C

OK, you people do realize that this is a fun little photoblog right? It's just a bunch of pictures of something silly we did at work one night. Not trying to do a scientific experiment or anything.
My word! Relax!

So, telling people to relax and lighten up clearly didn't work. So... all future nasty and offensive comments on this entry will be replaced by a Happy Bunny!
